Who can adopt?

We are looking for carers from the Black and Minority Ethnic communities and always need applicants from a range of mixed heritage partnerships. Adopters can be from any ethnic background, religion or sexual orientation. We need adopters from all religious and cultural backgrounds. The make up of your particular family background may be just the right match for a child who is waiting. What's most important is that you have a patient and understanding nature, and the determination to give a child the kind of support and care that will make a real difference to their lives.

As part of the procedures police checks and medical examinations are required, to ensure that all applicants who want to be adoptive parents are fit and healthy, and suitable to care for children. We have children waiting now for someone like you. If you are over 21 and you can provide a stable, loving home, your application will be welcomed.
