The Sahara Adoption and Fostering Project is operated by IKL Associates.
IKL Associates are an Independent Consultancy and Learning Support company, with the knowledge and skills in working with Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) children, young people and families within the social care context.
Our core aims are to improve outcomes for all children and their families, our expertise lies in working to promote positive outcomes for children and families from Black and Minority Ethnic backgrounds. IKL Associates is committed to celebrating diversity and improving service delivery standards for Black and Minority Ethnic children in implementing the Every Child Matters Agenda.
We provide a team of experienced consultants and associates whose strengths are their levels of professional and managerial experience in working across the range of local authority children’s social care, including service provision to the public, private and voluntary and private sectors.
IKL Associates has successfully provided consultancy and training to a range of agencies, we can deliver specified areas of service, either long or short term , within our specialist areas.
Consultants and Associates
Our team of consultants and associates work independently, are professionally qualified, in the field of Social Work and Social Care and have long standing experience in a range of settings including the statutory, voluntary and independent sectors. We can provide consultants from a range of BME backgrounds including Asian backgrounds, who have expertise in delivering services in Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu and Bengali languages if required, or other languages through use of interpreters.
