- To offer training and consultancy to local authority staff in the recruitment of Black and Minority Ethnic foster carers.
Our aims are :
Working with Sahara
If you approached our team, we would work out with you which local authority you would like to become a carer for.
We have a project team of both black and white staff, who can speak in Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi and any other languages using an interpreter.
We are working to provide Black and Minority Ethnic communities with information about fostering and adoption.
We are making links with many BME community groups, and asking them to help us in the following ways, either display a poster, distribute leaflets or invite us to talk to groups to provide them with more information. We are also receiving a lot of support through our various networking activities to community groups, so if you feel you can help us in any way then please call us on 0191 4212346 or if you prefer why not email us
If you would like to receive further information regarding our adoption or fostering services please contact us on 0191 4212346 or if you prefer why not email us
