Sahara Adoption and Fostering Project is an exciting and pioneering project in the North East Region, which aims to promote the recruitement of Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) foster carers and adoptive parents. The project is supported and funded by 12 local authorities in the North East Region. more

 

Many Black, African-Caribbean, Chinese, Asian-Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Christian children are being looked after by local authority children’s social care in our local authorities and require families who can meet their religious and cultural needs.

We need caring families/couples and single people from a range of backgrounds including Black, Asian and Mixed-Partnerships.

All carers will receive Support and Allowances.
